Pam W Posted August 21, 2005 Share Posted August 21, 2005 the tart burned up just under 3 hrs - the wick was only half used up so I crumbled up one of my own tarts & added to the container. It burned for another 2 hrs. (and of course it smelled better)This morning I rewicked the little device - just stuck a snipped votive wick into it. The flame wasn't as large as the original wick. If the melt pool is too deep, it floods out. I bought the rose-vanilla - I really like the scent but it doesn't throw like our home-made tarts do. For the $6 investment, I've gotton my money's worth in play-time - I might buy a couple refills but just so I can have the thingys to experiment with. CandleFreak Posted August 29, 2005 Share Posted August 29, 2005 yep major money making gimmick....i purchased the orchid scent...smelled better cold than hot....but then again i'm not a floral kinda person...but it was all they had...and walmart was completely out of them NO bases left at all just refills!!!
