cozyaromas
I am making layered votives with Palm Wax and I was just wondering how do you prevent the wax from dripping from each layer on the side??? TIA for any assistance!!
SheilaW
Sorry to say but it's almost impossible to keep the wax from running down the sides. I try to pour a new layer just as the top gets a fairly thick skim on it and I pour onto a spoon so it doesn't break through. Layering this wax is tough because if you wait until it's cool then the wax has pulled away from the mold and if you pour too soon then the wax mixes. sisters3candle
I wait until the edge is hardened but the center is still liquid...I don't suggest waiting for the top of the previous layer to be completely hardened.
