Recommended Posts

  • 9 oz crisco
  • 2oz cocnut oil
  • 4oz lard
  • 2oz grapessed oil
  • I wanted to put it into the soap calc 9, but cant figure out the percentages to enter into it to make it right, wanted to check the hardning, cleanse and lather, I am no good at that calculater when it comes to the percentages, is there a easy way?

I got a totally different set of percentages..

Crisco - 52.94

Coconut- 11.76

Lard - 23.53

Grapeseed - 11.76

And you need to resize this recipe unless your scale is accurate to .1 grams, 2 pound minimum to keep it totally safe.

Yes, this is a basic math question.

9+2+4+2=17. That's your total ounces.

9/17=.5279 (53 %) Crisco

2/17=.1179 (12%) Coconut

4/17=.2352 (24% ) Lard

2/17=.1179 (round down to 11% remaining of 100) Grapeseed
