friendlyMOM
what would happen if my soap was solid before the 24 to 72 hours it says to keep in the mold and I took it out and cut it up? Would it go to mush? or is there some reason for it to stay in the mold the whole time? Thanks for being patient with me and my questions tonight
Bunny
If you cut it, and it's solid all the way through.. You're good to go. It it smears and is a bit sticky, leave it in the mold (or be like me and take it out of the mold but keep it in the freezer paper so it'll free up your mold). Because I'm super impatient, I usually cut off just the end to see how it came out, then leave it for 2-3 days for the cleanest cut. Smudge marks sure can ruin a beautiful bar of soap!
