Red lather????

Ordered the sample pack of pigment colors from Bramble Berry and one of the colors (red brick) is producing red lather. I saw a thread regarding this some time back but can't find it now.

Is this normal? Did I use too much? Or does it even matter?

Yup, back down on your color. You don't really want red washclothes, or stained showers, or red lather. Unless you're going for the goth look Red especially you usually don't have to use too much - I know when I use red oxide or red clay I use just a little bit.

I had the same trouble with some red oxide. I won't be giving that away to anyone!
