Michi
My daughter called my last Friday asking if I could make a waxed dipped bear for a friend who is having a baby shower this coming weekend. That would be no biggie, except I have to send it to my daughter out of state. She said she wanted to give her something "different" and also wants to show off my products. Thankfully I already had some bears, but of course I'm going through my bazillion FO's and couldn't find a single one that remotely said, "baby". Well, I settled on Spring Rain which to me has powdery note in it, and it's a clean scent, so I'm hoping she likes it. I think this guy turned out really cute-simple-but cute. Oh and a million thanks to whomever it was that gave me the advice about wearing those knit one-size-fits-all gloves under the rubber gloves, worked like a charm. This is actually the FIRST time I made one of these guys without burning my hands.
