melissa1955
when double wicking a 16oz candy jar, how do you determine what size wicks to use? I use Calwax CB30 and have been told I need to go up one size. Been trying with HTP 1312 but still doesn't burn completly across so I thought I'd try the double wicking thing. Any ideas?Melissa (The rookie):rolleyes2

Kaybee23
Wow, that is a pretty large jar. It still may take a couple of large wicks to get that dia. to burn right. I would start with double HTP93 or HTP104. What I would do is pour the jar without wicks, then poke holes and insert wicks after it sets up. That way you can give each set of wicks 2 or 3 burns and be able to switch them out if they don't work. That is how I start with wicking a new jar. Keep us posted on how it does.
