liljean
Hi, Can anyone recommend a supplier who has a good cold process soap starter kit? I would LOVE to try my hand at handmade soap. I LOVE SOAP! I love to see all of your pictures in the B&B Gallery. I am in awe of your work! Thanks.
Gypsyjen
Here are a few:http://shop.sunsoap.com/items/index.cfm?fuseaction=showitems&cat=67http://www.brambleberry.com/kits.htmlThere is another one that people rave about but I can't for the life of me remember the supplier. Maybe someone else will chime in!ETA: I remember now...it is Southern Belle Soaps, however, they no longer carry the CP kits.

donna4909
If you're looking to start out a little cheaper, you can just make a trip to the grocery store. I buy everything locally, except for butters & FO.I usually use a variety of grocery store oils, like:LardCoconut OilSoybean OilCanola OilOlive OilSunflower OilPeanut OilAnd I get my lye at Lowe's. Sara
I bought my first oils locally as well. But... that was when you could pick up a can of Red Devil, too
