lou lou
:embarasse Hello all. Here is my problem, I am testing all my candles in paraffin wax 1 oz pp. I have to try all my wicks for every fragrance that i test. I use 51, htp-105, 44 i get these wicks from cajun candles, peaks and greenleaf.I have read that some people use one wick only. Why and i not having any luck with this? I am going crazy with all these wicks for every fragrance. Is there any wick that will work great with any FO? I know we all have wick issues but there has to be an easier way than this. Any suggestions will really help. Oh i use 9 oz hex jars for all my candles. Thanks Lyndie
Scented
Well finding that wick is the fun of it no? Actually, if you're trying to find something in the wicks you've picked, why not just pour one jar for each kind of wick and test from there. If you find it ain't working, go up or down a size depending on what your results are. Can't point you in a direction of a universal wick. Just don't secure your wicks to your jars till you find one that actually works how you like it to work. When you find that, secure a wick and see how it performs. Or you could just start out with one kind of wick. Pour three jars. Use the suggested size by the manufacturer and then wick up on another jar and wick down on another one and see how those work out. Might help find what you're looking for also.
