MaryinCary
Peak's Asian Sandalwood? I've checked the "Scents that Rock in CP" thread, but it wasn't listed. Just curious if anyone knows how this does. Thx:D
Janis
I soaped it eons ago. This is what I remember: It is one STRONG fo, so go light. At first, the smell was enough to gag a maggot, but in about a week the fragrance came out strong and true. If you love it in candles, you'll love it in soap. I can't remember about accelleration and I'm sure I wouldn't know about discolor because I used a ton of red clay on that one. My tester had a red bathtub, lol. That's when I had just started making soaps. Let us know how it turns out for you.
Janis
Just went back in the archives and noticed that lots of folks had soaped it way back when. The consenses was no d or a and nice smelling in cp. HTH
pixie*dust
I tried it about a year ago, no acceleration, I did get a slight discoloration though.. light tannish, though a pretty color. And go lightly on it, it is STRONG! My bar from last year is probably where it should have smelt a year ago pix
Jcandleattic
For me, the scent soaped very nicely, and I still have a few bars left from about a year or so more and it still smells nice and true. My bar has not discolored, nor did it accelorate. HTH
