cybersix
I cannot decide what paper to use..Matt or glossy?I like both, so in your experience are there pro and cons about using one of the two?TIA
pdevine
IMO, I think the glossy looks alot more professional and clean looking, but that's just me. HTH Portia
cybersix
thank you Portia!I'm trying to have a complete brochure, I'm using publisher now (I'm doing some tests)My general look is very simple, very "hand crafted" so i was wondering what kind of paper is good to continue the look.I like glossy paper, but besides what I like I have to decide what fit best..If I print my brochure on glossy paper should I use it also for labels in your opinion?TIA
Daisyd'Light
I think that a matted look would be more fitting for a "hand craft" look. Just my opinion though, usually doesn't matter much. Good luck with it though.

I think you would still want to have a professional appearance even if you have a "hand crafted" look but that's JMO. I don't think you would need to have glossy labels though. I think the matte labels would be better for the "hand crafted" look.
goosebay_1999
I print mine on glossy as well. If it needs to be folded I take it to OfficeMax or Office Depot. They have folding machines and they are folded perfectly each time. They usually charge 1 or 2 cents per fold.
