ebarnes
I used 16oz Apoth Jars (4" wide), I also have 12oz Apoth Jars (4" wide), is it safe to say that the same wicking method applies for the 12oz jar that I used for the 16oz jar? The only difference is the depth of the jar.
Pam W
I'd think so as long as it's the same wax & FO
geekrunner
I've found with the keepsakes that have the same diameter but differing heights you may be able to use a one size smaller wick in the larger jar, providing the jars are widemouth. With the deeper jar, the further down the burn goes, it will hold in more heat than the shallower jar. If you wick too small on the shorter jar, the hangup might not catch up before the candle is burned down to it's useful life.It is good to use the same wick as a starting point for both jars, but be prepared to either wick up the smaller one or wick down on the larger one.geek
Crafty1_AJ
My experience agrees with Geek.
