ladysj
I need help please. I bought stearic acid and a pillar mold to make my first pillar candle. From my understanding the stearic is needed to make the soy thicker. I read on another forum that the stearic acid added to this will work to make votives but not pillars that I need a soy/pillar blend. My question is will just the stearic work for my pillars? If not what do I need to add to make this a soy/pillar blend? I have beeswax pellets and candelila wax. I did go ahead and make the pillar with just the stearic I turned out really nice and the cold throw is wonderful. My little cubicle smells strongly of Peach/Mango lol Please help!!!!! Gypsyjen
I would recommend buying a manufactured pillar blend wax. It's too risky making pillars out of container wax as the sides of the pillar might blow out and you'd have hot wax everywhere, not to mention a fire hazard.
