lelliebet
Thank-You marilyn for your reply.I dont think i explained myself well.I use palm wax...and soy wax but seperately.I was wondering about the scent throws in each of these waxes.is there anything to add to increase scent throw?I usually cure for 2 weeks with the soy.How many hours on the average does a scented tart last? Thank-You lotsa Lelliebet:)
Marilyn
I haven't made tarts in a while so I'm not much help! But I'm thinking if you are not getting a good scent throw you could add more fragrance. 1 oz per pound is about 6% and I think with tarts you can go 7%-9%. scottopus
Even though most of my tarts (1 oz size) last well over 24 hours, I have one or two that last a little over 12 hours. I just say that they last 12 hours to keep it consistant.think with tarts you can go 7%-9%Since it's a tart (in other words- no flame), you can load your wax to the upper limits of its specifications. scottopus
For tarts, I'm using a blend of KY Puresoy and KY all natural Pillar/Votive and loading it to 10% FO.
