iammommytwo
I'm relatively new myself- been doing soy since last summer. You should received instructions w/your wax, as they are not the same. What type of wax did you get??I use my microwave, so I have a few candy thermometers handy.Do you have some small jars to "test" with??I also use empty margarine/cottage cheese/sour cream type containers for mixing.I live in FL, and have found that I have to pour at a cooler temp right now w/the weather being colder.Hope my opinion helps . I'm sure that everyone has there own little things that work for them. I've gotten some very good tips from here. Everyone is so helpful. geekrunner
Check out the sticky thread Vicky put up on different soy waxes and you might find some info on your wax, and other helpful stuff. geek
Granjan
Read, read and read more on this message board. Everyone is so nice and helpful.I am fairly new to candles also. But finding the right wick that works with your wax and FO and jar is very important and takes time. My Presto Pot will be here on Wednesday!!! I found one on e-bay that has a brass spigot and I am so excited. Hopefully kitchen will not look like a hurricane came through.Wishing you well,
