Mei-Mei
Made some 20 oz containers using this wax and some different FO's. Poured at 180 and heated the containers. I've noticed that the wax shrinks slightly, not away from the sides but from the top, leaving an unattractive wax ring a little, tiny ways from the top of the candle. Does anyone know of any way to combat this?
OutlandishLady
You can pour a little cooler or invest in a heat gun. I usually go the heat gun route. I poured candles for several months before I bought one and now I use it almost every day. Good luck!
smalltownscents
I agree w/ Outlandish - use a heat gun.
Reese
I use comfort blend and the same thing happens to me. I just use my heat gun to level the top off
Mei-Mei
I went to the hardware store and bought a heat gun. It worked like a charm. Thanks!
SuzieCandleMaker
I dont' know if this has anything to do with it, but I pour at 170 (never heat my wax to more than 170) and have never had this problem. HTH.
