cut and curl paraffin

Recommended Posts

Hey there👋, I recently find out about this forum, I am so hopeful to find some relieving answers to my concerns.

I used to carve and curl candles (cut n curl) but since I relocated to North America I faced a lot of trouble to find the right paraffin wax.

I am still struggling to find the appropriate wax and the right ratio of additive to make it as smooth as my previous wax (54C-56C melting point).

I am working with IGI1239 (MP58) and 4045 (MP 62) plus microcrystalline.

I even brought the dipping temperature up to 85C, still can't achieve a malleability, and wax breaks as  I curve.

So, Kindly, If anyone can share experience, advice, paraffin ref / suppliers, ratio..., I will be very thankful and grateful 🙏.

My trials and testing are costing me so much and above all it is frustrating me 🥺so much, though it use to be my source of pleasure and destress away from my family.
