Bella bells
Hi all I make scented candles and would now like to start making diffusers. Does anybody have experience using Augeo as a base? If so what ratio’s do you use for Augeo to fragrance oil? I’ve tried 50/50 and not sure if it’s just me and I’ve got used to the scent, but I find it hard to smell the diffuser after a while. Thanks muchly! 😊

Sarah S
I'm sorry @Bella bells, I have never heard of Augeo. Where did you purchase it? Most suppliers will provide you with a general ratio for their product, but like with candles each FO needs to be tested individually for best results. Sebleo
It looks like Augeo is a base sold in the UK. From the website, baseformula.com, it says 15-25% fragrance. That is consistent with other bases I have seen. So, at 50/50, you are using too much fragrance oil. The oil is clogging up your reeds which is why you can’t smell anything after a while.
