jtiff66578
Good morning all. I am having a little bit of wick trouble. I am testing an 8 oz jj with 7% of fragrance oil Birthday Cake from Rustic Escentuals - KY line C3 wax added fragrance at 180 degrees no color or dyes The first test I did with a cd 10 and it conked out on the first burn. Wicked up to a 12 and wowsers! The flame was dancing and throwing off some soot. My guess is the jar would have been black at the top and the melt pool would have been too large by the end of the burn. So then I tried a premier 765 - again not enough ooph to keep it going. Going to try the eco series next. Will start with a 6 since they tend to burn a little hot. I love this scent but it is a toughie to wick. If the ECo 6 doesn't work I may try the premier 767. Thoughts??? I love the cd wicks and after the first burn that went ok with the 10 but then the second burn after about 2 hours it was dying a slow and painful death and then whammo out. :-(
