Most soy waxes do much better with a 2 week cure time. I don't know the science behind it, and I don't use soy, but that seems to be the standard cure time for soy. 

I use paraffin, and still give it a good 4-5 days cure time before testing.

:o2weeks my goodness well i feel silly now haha 

thank you so much for this response extremely helpful and insightful. this might be the answer to everything.
