angiebaby
I was at the health store today buying some stuff and sniffed the coolest candles with essential oils. They each had a different theme (sensual, calming, etc). Some of the combo smelled soooo good. Then I saw what they charge for different essential oils! So, has anyone experimented with all essential oil candles for aromatherapy? Thanks!
Dustpuuppy
Some essential oils won't work in candles. Some will. Some won't burn, some might even be dangerous. Some of the oils are poisonous, some won't burn. Some might explode, for all I know.An FO for the scent you want is your best bet.
Gypsyjen
As a matter of fact, I blended some EO's together last weekend and put them in Millcreek soy. Has a great cold throw, but when I test burned today I only got a mediocre hot throw. I'll probably end up contacting IFT or someone similar to custom blend a FO for me to duplicate the EO's I mixed. I'm sure it will be cheaper in the long run as well.

theisenk
i made a pillar candle with lavender eo. the cold throw was excellent and the hot was pretty good. i also tried corriander eo but didnt have as good results. i love eo's tho and am going to continue to experiment. it is slow going because of the expense! keep us posted if you do try any!
