KB12
Hey everyone! I've been testing my wood wicks and 444 wax produces black smoke, 464 burns too fast and hot, and I need a higher pour temp than 415 allows. This has brought me to mixing 50/50 415 and 464. The wooden wicks burn perfectly in this mix! However, I have not found the right pour temp when mixing these two. Does anyone else mix these two waxes? moonshine
I have never mixed the 2 together but given there is 415 in the mix and my experience with that wax I would have to guess at a lower temp like say 130 or under for a starting point, maybe even 120/
KB12
Thanks! I did try 135, and ended up with rough tops. So I'll try lower!
