LRcandles
Ive been checking prices on tarts to see what the market is charging, and Ive noticed that a lot of tarts/ melts have glitter/sprinkles on them. Is this safe?
Chefmom
Since tarts/melts are only warmed to the point of melting I don't see an issue. I see lots of candles with glitter and herbs and stuff sprinkled on...that makes me cringe! Glitter the jar if you need sparkly, keep the fire as safe as possible!

I agree, since you don't have fire/flame to contend with, at most it will sink to the bottom of the melt bowl and not look as pretty after the first melt, but other than that I don't see it posing a problem.
LRcandles
duh...just realized what a stupid question...you are right Jcandleattic. No fire/flame. Blame it on a house full of people ,sink full of dishes and me ...finally getting to sit down after everyone left. Brain tired....lol. Jcandleattic
Not a stupid question at all!!! You don't know what you don't know, so it's always better to ask, and get answers than to continue to wonder.
