Jann
How do you make gel candles with dried flowers and shells in it? I make normal gel candles, but when I try it with shells, it doesn’t quite come out that well. Could anyone tell me how it's done. I’m planning to make a few of those for my friend. I’ve also ordered for some clear packages to wrap them up. Would love to hear some solution to get them right. Thanks in advance.
Jcandleattic
I think you have to use the right density of gel in the first place, then make sure your embeds are as clean as they can be as to not cloud the gel, and pour at the right temp to make the gel as clear as possible. IDK gel is a hard medium (at least for me) which is why I don't really use it.
eitsfan
I've never used dried flowers, but definitely need to clean the shells thoroughly and let them dry completely.
