wick question...

Generally, the answer would be to wick down because as you are burning the candle and the further down that candle burns, the glass sides are generating more heat due to the height of the jar, thus becoming hotter the further down the candle burns.  Hope that makes sense.

Yes !!! I wish I would have read this before I poured today! I have been wicking up because I'm using igi 4627 and I've read to wick up because of its viscosity but what you said TOTALLY makes sense!! I am using a 2.5" diameter and 4" high container for right now ... That's AWESOME I'm so so glad I asked!!
