Tempering soy wax

Recommended Posts

I am not really sure what tempering really is either but I kinda do it with my soy- I have to or they are butt ugly

I do all this before adding fragrance though- after I heat, cool and reheat I add my FO and then wait the ridiculously long time again to pour just before slush

With the 415 I have to do this to get a smooth candle - I miss te 464 because it was not needed at all and I could pour hotter but for me te overall appearance before- during and after burn along with scent throw....415 was the winner - but that's not a to say one day I may not revisit my first love 464 because it was sooooooo much faster to make candles
