How do I make candles that have a matte look to them

Recommended Posts

Thank you ddweller. Last night though I looked at both again, and I DO have a bit of wet spot on the one candle on the side & in the corner.  I only used 1 oz. fragrance/1 lb. 464, & always make sure to stir really well.  But its hardly noticeable.  But I am making more today, will use a different color & fragrance.  I have very vanilla & grapefruit/mangosteen fragrance left, which i don't like either at all. should've used them as my first candles.

Old Glory:  do you only use the 8oz. tins?  I love the tins the best, but wanted to maybe try larger - like 10oz., but candles & supplies goes from 8oz. to 16 oz. tins.
