lovecandles918
I have been looking into trademarking the name of the candle line I want to make. The name is not taken, so that's good! It's about $300. My question is, is it possible to also trademark the label design, font, etc, along with the name? Has anyone here done that, and if it's possible, how much does it cost? Thanks in advance.
Twoscentsworth
You don't Trademark a label, a label will hold a copyright. Technically, you own the copyright to your label as soon as you create it. You can file for copyright protectionbut even without it you have the right to tell someone they are infringing on your copyright etc. some people will be compliant and some won't. Would you really hire a lawyer to enforce your copyright? If so then file for it...but remember you may want to change your label and you have to weigh the costs versus the risk/results. lovecandles918
Copyright, that's what I meant. Do you know how much it would cost to copyright my Logo for example?
