Grani L
I am a little confused. So for tarts, what should the MP be. I am blending waxes. I have 4625, 4630, 4794, and PB. So I ask because I. Blended 4625 and 4630. It popped from the portion cup fine, but stuck to the warmer. I had to freeze it to it out. So my question is should I worry about it? Or should I increase the MP. I remember testing palm wax in the past and this did release from the warmer without sticking. Any suggestions would be appreciated. LeahRB
I personally do not worry if it sticks to the bowl. If you increase the melt point, it may not melt well in some burners causing a loss in ht. eta: I like my melt point to be from 128-130. ksranch
I use a 4625/4630 blend and do have to pop my warmer bowl in the freezer too - it's just not a problem
Grani L
OK. Do anyone use flexible molds? So the MP still need to be around 130 when using the yellow flexible molds? Edited August 4, 2013 by Grani L
LeahRB
I like flexible molds... Most waxes will do fine in them, but not necessarily really soft container waxes. They can be messy or even get stuck.
