cynthia3030
I have EL, Xcel and GB464 soy waxes. I want to try a few fragrances but I plan to use the FOs in 415 soy. Will I get the same scent throw using a different soy? If a fragrance throws well in a particular soy wax, is that an indication that it will throw well in another soy? I'm very curious as to what I should expect so I appreciate your input.
rjdaines
They may all have different HTs. I use 415 and 464 and they are quite different.
cynthia3030
That's interesting. From your experience does it mean that it will throw at all in soy?
Bfly
I have compared a few soys and they all threw differently. I got a HT in each one but some were stronger and some would last longer.
Chefmom
And to throw a wrench in, well, the same sample batch, poured at the same time, with the same conditions, can throw very differently with a different type of wick. It can be maddening.

At least I will have an indication whether a particular FO will throw in soy but the only way to determine how much it will throw goes back to our motto which is to test, test, test and then test some more. Thanks!
