Heaven Scent Candles
I have read so much info on how to level the bottom's and they are great advice that I am going to use. Sometimes the wick pin is not straight causing the wick to slant in the candle. Is it ok to straighten the pin itself or will it break? I am using palm feather and they are coming out nice but I do notice the pin is cooked. I don't want to break the pin. Any help would be great :smiley2:
cindym
After I pour votives, I eye them and give them a little nudge while the wax is still hot.
jeanie353
Somehow, I bend mine all the time.Take a needle nose pliers, place it at the bottom of the pin (where it attaches to the base), and just pull it a little the way you need it to go. I haven't broken any yet...knock on wood.

Anywho, to be on the safe side the first time you bend one, maybe you'd want to put the pliers just above the weld, where the pin meets the base.
