I have read so much info on how to level the bottom's and they are great advice that I am going to use. Sometimes the wick pin is not straight causing the wick to slant in the candle. Is it ok to straighten the pin itself or will it break? I am using palm feather and they are coming out nice but I do notice the pin is cooked. I don't want to break the pin. Any help would be great :smiley2:

Somehow, I bend mine all the time.

Take a needle nose pliers, place it at the bottom of the pin (where it attaches to the base), and just pull it a little the way you need it to go. I haven't broken any yet...knock on wood.

Jeanie isn't it "knock on wax":laugh2:. Thank you both so much for your help I'm going to try this. Cross fingers so i don't break it.:shocked2:

Of course! What was I thinking :laugh2:

ETA: Now I'm over-thinking...Oh boy! Anywho, to be on the safe side the first time you bend one, maybe you'd want to put the pliers just above the weld, where the pin meets the base.
