Grani L
I currently am testing 4630 straight and blended.Does anyone notice that this wax throws a certain scent type better than others? For example does floral scents throw better then fruity scents? Or is it noticed that other wax types take to other scent types better? ksranch
I use 4630 and I find that I have to use a different wick size for different types of scents to get the throw I want.
Grani L
Right. But do you find that for instance floral scents throw better in this wax than bakery or other scents or do they all throw pretty much the same as long as it is wicked correctly? ksranch
The only thing that I can think of that I can't get to throw well with this wax is straight Patchouli.
redraider
I use 4630 and have many scents in each category that throw extremely well. The scents that don't throw well in this wax, and they come from each category, I chalk up to not being suited for us and move on to another sample from a different supplier. For about every 10 samples I try I might only decide to add 1 to our line. But at last count we have 112 different scents. I use one wax, 1 size wick and 1 type container. That is so much easier than trying to have multiple waxes, containers, wicks etc.
ksranch
Yep, that's more what I meant (didn't explain enough) - I too have certain scents from each category that don't throw well - but yes, you can use this wax and cover all the categories, you just have to find the ones that work for you.
