Sylvie
Has anyone tried SW's "Parma Viola d' Udine"? I'm trying to find a violet that is predominantly violet, without obvious vanilla or musk notes. The site description does mention musk, but I'm wondering how obvious it is in the scent. Beth
I have some, but I haven't used it yet. I can send a sniffie if you'd like.
ChrisR
If you are looking for a straight violet, you need to get Bramble Berry's. It's a straight floral scent with no other notes. Here's their description: Violet: This is a great, delicate floral with no other top notes. Just a straight violet that smells like your English grandmother. For CP Soapers, this scent moves very quickly and needs to be hand-stirred and closely watched. I've used it in candles for many years and it's a great thrower and very strong. Sylvie
Thank you, Chris. I trust your floral recommendations because I know you love the floral scents. I'm glad to hear their Violet is strong; most of the violets I've tried were very light.
