ksranch
I have always used Peak's SFIC base - but all I need right now is base and Shea Butter - and they don't have Shea butter. So, I notice that BB carries what appears to be? SFIC according to the ingredients. Will I be disappointed if I get it from them this time? I also note on the 10lb they say "unwrapped" - do they just mean the pounds aren't individually wrapped like Peak's is?
Ravens
I have used both, and found no difference between the two. hth :-)You thought correctly; by "unwrapped" they mean you will receive a block of soap, not individually wrapped in 1-lb packages like Peak's. Edited January 27, 2013 by Ravens added abt. wrapped soap base.
ksranch
Thanks Ravens - although I would prefer not having to cut it up, I guess to save $14 on shipping I'll just get the block!
Ravens
Also, 10 lbs of GM soap base is cheaper at BB ($27.50). I do not mind the cutting and hey, if it saved me $14 on shipping I'd be crazy not to go for it, lol. Wow, $14, that's quite a bit! Thanks Ravens - although I would prefer not having to cut it up, I guess to save $14 on shipping I'll just get the block! ksranch
Well, I should clarify - it saves me that much because I'll be shipping from one supplier instead of two.
