Please Help!! Cupcake Candle Melts

I was wondering does anyone know how long I should wait after pouring the bottom part of the Cupcake before I apply the top. I am planning to pipe on the frosting.

Should I wait until the bottom have cooled 6-8 hours later or should I do it soon as it becomes solid while its still a little bit soft? Also is pillar / votive tart wax the way to go? ---

I have also considered cupcake silicone molds.--But does it take a long time for the wax to congeal in the mold? Any suggestions / help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

I whip the wax and put it on the capcake base; but you have to work rather quickly, as the wax cannot be too stiff (solid) nor too runny.

hth :smiley2:

I also want to make some and pipe the icing but I was wondering how everyone does this. It seems to me that by the time you

get the wax in the piping bag it would be too solid to pipe. Can anyone help me out on this?
