lmc
For those of you who have tried both, which do you prefer? I have a small candle (C3) order with matching soap to make....I've used CS and its very good but just received Peaks and dont have time to test for ht (good ol curing) but I like it better oob, seems smoother. Opinions appreciated!
Chefmom
I prefer Candle Science. When I hold them side by side with my Lavender Essential Oil, CandleScience smells closer to the real thing.Peaks, in my opinion, smells like a Lavender and other flower blend vs. pure lavender.I had good throw with both in 6006, however I prefer CandleScience hands down. moonshine
Ditto Chefmom with the exception that I did not test it in a candle- I may have in melts but I prefer CS- I use lavender 40/42 EO a lot and CS is almost identical
Babyv
I vote CS. To me CS is more of an herbal type.

debscent
I used to use Peak but decided to use CS because they are closer, but I will say that Peak's requires a smaller %.
lmc
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when I do test it : )
tbowers8403
I never have used Peaks yet, but CS Lavender is not my favorite. It smells like old granny soap. I love lavender too. Now one I tried in a candle once I bought from an overstock person here was from J&L Creations. Its pricey though
