However, my reading suggests a cotton core wick for use in 100% soy waxes. I had thought, for some reason, that CD and Cotton Core wicks were the same thing. That is until I came across Rustic Escentuals wick page that has both listed lol. So what is the difference between the two?? Editing to add: Will be ordering some 415 soon from Peak, and will be using it in glass jars - as for how I'd be using the wicks.Thanks! rjdaines Posted January 2, 2013 Share Posted January 2, 2013 I've been experimenting with RRD wicks with are cotton cored as well as directional. I am finding that these are better than my standard wick (HTP) with thicker FOs. They are also said to work well with more viscous waxes, like vegetable wax. The throw was great but serious big balls!
