  1. Hi, I have always used inpex dye flakes in soy wax but the last batch leaves colour spots so I wondered what everyone else used for Soy and what you would recommend please? x Serena
  2. Hi, I also use Eco wicks and have found that they curl but not sure if they r designed like that as they are supposedly self trimming? I agree its rather frustrating as the candle almost dies at times x I am about to try the LX & CSN wicks to see if they are any better. Does anyone have any recommendations please? x
  3. :undecided Hi I have used the Ecosoya advanced wwithout much success on the fragrance front so I have decided to try something else and wondered if anyone had tried the Xcel variety and whether is was better or worse please? Thanks Serena x
  4. Hi, I live in the UK so Soya choices here are much less than yours and bascially consist of the Ecosoya range. Having tried the CB-advanced and having FO issues and HT issues I am considering switching but worried about frosting and scent. Do I change to the xcel or CN135 please? also are range of FO's for soya wax here are very much less than yours so can any1 recommend a brand im likely to be able to get here that would work well. Many thanks for your help x
  5. Hi thanks Dolcibugie, Im from the UK but will try using the pillar blend for both parts as its not such a soft wax. Ive made one with a slightly bigger wick as i was only using an eco2 wick so have tried an eco4 to see if that stops the drowning and give a full melt pool. Thanks agaon for replying x
  6. Hi, I have been making some cupcake candles using soy wax using ecosoy pillar blend for the cake part (excuse odd description) and cb-adv for the whipped part and the top does melt rather quick and sometimes floods the wick. Do I have a wicking issue? (I use Eco wicks, currently testing between a 2 or 4) I would be very greatful for some advice on which size is better. Also can anyone suggest whether to use the same wax for both parts or carry on the way I am please? I always burn them in a glass souffle dish. Thanks very much x
