  1. I just sent them a message, I'll let you guys know!!!
  2. Yes, thanks I was talking about the waves in the soap, I guess next time I'll be more specific But I appreciate your response AlwaysWondering! I'm going to try letting it cool and molding it down, thanks!
  3. http://www.etsy.com/listing/83974499/ginger-creme-handmade-vegan-soap I was looking thru etsy today and saw this soap made out of melt and pour, and Im just wondering how you would do a soap like this with uneven lines. I have only done layered melt and pour with clean even lines. I'm thinking that you pour when the soap is still hot? But do you pour right away or do you wait until it gets a film over the first layer? Any tips would be appreciated, I'm not trying to copy this soap just learn another technique. Thanks
  4. Do you add a minimum order?? if someone orders 1 thing and you have only charged .25 or .50 don't you loose money?
  5. I am doing a show in a couple months, it's an art show and I've been told that its a lot of young artsy kids. I've been thinking of ideas and I can't come up with much besides some body glitter. If you can think of anything it would be much appreciated! :smiley2:
  6. I have some aloe vera juice and wanted to make a jel out of it. I have this recipe that calls for methyl-cellulose. I don't have any of this is there anything else I can substitute this for to thicken my aloe juice?
  7. So, I tried another one after letting it dry for 24 hours. This time it floated for about 1/4 of the time then sank. I'm wondering if it's because it was drier on the outside? Is 24 hours enough time to dry these little buggers? Also, I had this one crack all over on me, is there any way to prevent this? Thanks everyone!!
  8. Hi, I have been trying desperately to make bath bombs and every one I do it sinks. Here's the basic recipe I used: 2.50oz baking soda 1.25oz citric acid 1.25oz cornstarch .30oz olive oil This is the last recipe I tried today and I made one about 5 hours ago. I am very impatient and wanted to try it right aways so I put it under a fan to dry faster :smiley2:, and I plopped it in my tub only after 5 hours drying time. So It's definitely a possibility I screwed it up by not letting it dry. I'm going to make another one tonight and let it dry for a full 24 hours, but I wanted to see if anyone has any ideas in the meantime...like I said I'm very impatient. Thanks!
