But is cyclo better then a base or about the same I just want to try to make my best decision bases seem so much easier but if I can get a better product by using cyclo then that would be my choice

I was thinking about trying the cd 10 or 8 I have some of the bigger cds that didn't really work in my other jars and mushroomed bad but mat it just had to do with what I was using them in

I was looking into the cyclo from re and that you can use for everything from my understanding After Bath Oil/Shower Body Oil: Mix with your favorite oil blend in concentrations up to 50/50 and add FO or EO to desired strength. Spray on skin after getting out of bath or shower, and then towel dry. Leaves skin silky & velvety without being greasy. But what is this they say to use your favorite oil mix

And all I need to do then is add a body safe fo at the recommended percentage right

I've found several bases for room spray would this be the same base for body spray as well. This stuff completely confuses me. I just want tp give a shot at something different than candles and melts any help is appreciated. Thank you

Well thank you for your thoughts on this scent least I'm not.the.only blonde here. Believe me I still have problems with this wax time to time and all these threads are so conflicting.about this wax I've just been trying to do my own research. I think now the only problem I really have is every other batch I get the holes around the wicks. I've been pretty much set on the Eco 10 but I see a lot of people also use cdn and seem to have.better results. I've tried zinc, rrd, cd, and csn or was it cns idk the ones from candle science brain fart here but none of those really have worked rrd gave great hot throw though but bad mushrooming and high flames if you want to discuss 464 you can pm me as well

Oh well that's good to hear and I'm glad you know who I am speaking of without a doubt I know the scent will change and not be exactly the same I believe they started with parafiin and now offer soy to. I use 464 in jelly jars the 8oz. I really don't want to compare myself to them but I do wish to make this something she will enjoy better than what she is already use to if that makes sense. I just am not even use to this scent when she asked me for holly berry I thought to myself what the heck is a holly berry suppose tobeven smell like I never even thought of this being a candle scent that's why im just confused about the whole thing lol maybe its because I'm blonde bahaha

Thanks for the responses is that the only holly berry you have tried does it seem true to a holly berry scent I just don't know what a true holly berry scent is I guess my best bet is to smell the one I'm trying to compete against I just don't know when ill get down to the mtn

I have a women who is interested in a holly berry candle. I myself have never smelled a holly berry candle and am not sure exactly what one would smell like. She currently purchases them from blue mtn candle not sure if there are any Pennsy people on this board who has ever smelled it. I did find the fo at ng not to many reviews in the scent though. Has anyone used this fo and if so from where. If I'm going to make this for her I want it to be better than her previous experience but I can't judge this myself not really knowing what the exact scent should smell like. Any help would be awesome thank you

Well thats a really good point if its soy or paraffin I never had to let parraffin cure either but soy definatly needs to sit a few days

I add my fo at 180 so I think it is definatly a good idea to up your temp that may be a big factor

I always seal my candles or tarts while I let them cure which I think is better than open air helps lock in the scent

How long did they cure before you melted the tarts, what temp did you add the fo, did you stir thoroughly

My large warmer holds all six cubes my small plugin only fit two but was very close to the top every warmer is different. I know my neighbor has a medium size warmer and she will fill it till its about to pool over but then again all my suggestions to her she shrugs off so I guess people will do whatever they want regardless of what you try to tell them

Just tell them how you feel if they want your business they'd be wise to change there attitude
