  1. I should have specified that my label now has all the necessary safety and company information on it. I was just wondering if I should place a label on my jar with my Company name on it for a more professional looking jar. My labels now are professional looking but I just wondering if it would give it a even more professional look to them to have a label on the jar. But my main concern is, would it be a fire hazard to have a paper label on the outside of the jar with a heating element under the jar.

  2. I usually label my wickless jars, with a hang tag. But I was curious how others label their jars. I was sort of wondering about putting a label on the jar as well, with my company information. I would still put a hang tag on it as well with the proper use of a wickless jar. I will putting some of my items in a store starting the first of July and was thinking if I should put my company information on the jar too.

    TIA

  3. I'm trying to find bags to use instead of plastic thank you bags. I've considered the paper bags with twisted handles but am concerned about the bottom falling out and the candles breaking.

If you do use a paper bag, do you wrap the candles in anything or just put the tissue coming out of the top?

I use the paper bags with twist handle (made from recycled paper) for all my candles they are extremely strong and durable, I wrapped my products individually in tissue paper. Customers really appreciate a nice looking paper for their purchase, it is amazing the comments you get.

  4. I was just looking at their website, and was reading in the About Us part, and there was a statement in there about shipping to Canada and abroad via Canpar. I would send them a e-mail and ask for sure. They have great customer service and I am sure that they would help you out. I get a lot of supplies from them and have had nothing but excellent service from them.

  5. Thank you. I showed them to a few people and they love them. I am going to play some more. I would really love to be able to use a real tea-light.

If you used a hurricane wax you should be able to burn tealights in them, but I would only use the plastic cup type. Regular pillar wax is just not hard enough to use with a regular tea-light.

  6. Hello,

My sister and I were on this site and saw wax dipped plush bears for sale and we don't get it. Do you burn the whole bear down when you light it or it is more a decorative thing? Is it a preference thing for some people? I'm totally curious here and want to know how it works. Are they popular?

You wouldn't believe how many people at craft shows ask about the bears and how they burn. I have to explain to them that they are an air freshener only. I clearly state on my packaging tag that they are not a candle and can't be burnt.

  7. Thanks for everybodies suggestions. I like the idea of the 3 different layers as I do imagine red being in the candle states that it is Santa's Workshop and should be a fun looking candle not serious looking. Now I just have to get my butt in gear and pour my candle, and test it.

    Thanks

  8. what's the description of the scent?

The sweet smell of Santa's pipe mixed with the scent of his workshop (eg.sawdust)is what they describe it as. I can't say that I get those smells from it. That is what is making it more difficult for me to think of a colour

  9. I just did my first show last weekend, my sales were very good. After the show received a phone call for more of my dipped bears. I have another show next week 2 days, I really not sure what to expect from it, the sales seem to be down each year, but they are changing some things up this year maybe it will help. My Mom was saying that she heard it advertised on the radio last week, first year they have ever done this maybe it will help here's hoping.

Just finished my 2 day show this weekend, I had my all time sales at this show, for the combination of the two days I doubled my usual sales. It was so nice to have customers that were looking for you, it makes you feel good about your product when you have repeat customers hoping to find you at a show.
