  1. Yep, I've followed it, but I've made myself a vow that I'll only have just a few FO suppliers. SO far those have been, Peak, CS and KY. If I let the reins loose I'd go crazy because there are so many good suppliers, and I can't have them all. I just can't afford to temp myself ordering sample from all different places.

Same here. I have limited myself on FO suppliers. So far I've managed to hold steady with five. Candle Science, Peak, Millcreek, Texas Candle Supply and recently added a handful from Candlwic. Main two are CS and Peak. The problem is.... even with limiting suppliers, they all still have soooooooo many awesome scents I want . LOL

  2. I've read tons of old posts regarding this but mostly from 2005, 2006 and 2007 so I thought I'd bring this subject up again and see what thoughts and experiences have changed in the last 4 or 5 years... if any.

I bought a cute little tea light warmer from A Candle Co (Bell A Roma) to test and see if they were worth getting some to sell. They really are cute but they get WAY too HOT. I tested the melted wax and it was 245 - 250 degrees. And it was smoking !!!!! Scared me a little so I blew out the tea light.

Does anyone know at what temperature we should shoot for (maximum temp) regarding melted tarts without getting too hot ?

  3. I have a question ...... and it's probably a stupid one but anyway ......

    1 oz bottle $2.00

    8 oz bottle $9.95

    16 oz bottle $14.95

    By The Pound $12.95

This is how the FO pricing is listed at AAA Candle Supply.

NEVER MIND !!!!!! I'd delete this if I knew how !!!!!!! LOL

I just went back to the site and discovered the answer.

  4. you're welcome ! and yes. it's all one thing. warning is printed on the back of the label itself. you read the warning through the plastic lid of the clamshell when you open it up. and its in three languages. English, French, Spanish

are these really that easy to use ? even for those of us who are pretty much computer illiterate ? LOL Seriously though ... I've never operated a credit card machine / app so am very curious about just how easy this is to use. I will be selling my tarts for the first time in the near future and an extremely simple to use system would be right up my alley.

Plain jane or not, your story brought tears to my eyes. I love it when people use the simplest of forms to remember and honor a dear friend or family member. Thank you for sharing your story. I know she greatly appreciates your thoughtfulness as she looks down from above.
