  1. well shoot. i saw several places that had that lid (in different colors) with the star cut out but didn't see any with the star added onto the lid. I'll go look some more and see if I can find something.

if all else fails maybe you can buy some little metal stars and glue them on a rustic lid ?

  2. My biggest concern with buying from a reseller is if they go under, or switch suppliers, I might not be able to offer my customers consistency. If I put something on the market, I don't want to be forced to discontinue it for that reason.

Unfortunately... THAT is a concern in any business.... dealing with suppliers that might possibly go out of business. If / when that happens you just have to dig in and find a new supplier and keep going.

  3. Is this company still in business selling tart warmers ? And if so does anyone have a new link for them ?

I've googled tons and find lots of places selling Waxcessories warmers. I finally stumbled onto a site called Insights & Waxcessories that appears to be them (has two different web sites) but new customers can't get access to pricing. It says it's disabled. The catalog option is from Spring Summer 2009 ?

  4. No idea. I googled Pleazure Air Freshener and got nothing with that spelling. Who manufactures that freshener ? Where did you buy it ? Do you still have the package ? Does the package give you any information about the product ?

  5. .

I don't believe there's such thing as the --- one in a thousand who gets it right the first time --- when it comes to candles. LOL

there are just way too many variables involved for it to all work right the first time.

some people (including me) have been reading these boards for MONTHS and some even years and we all still keep learning.

the only other thing I can recommend ... adding to what Stella said ... is to say keep the FO orders to a minimum and order ONLY the SAMPLE sizes until you know that scent will work for you. Sample sizes are more expensive by the ounce but will save you tons in the long run by keeping you from buying several ounces of one scent that won't work for you.

  6. you definitely have to get some of Peak's FO.

and it's got nothing to do with "cheating" on anyone.

You use the scents you like (or that work best for you) from the suppliers you like.... period !

My main two suppliers for FO are Peak and Candle Science.

I also have a few from three other suppliers.

And I get my wax from yet another supplier.
