    Congrats!! Just when I thought I had the wicking down, here comes a different batch of wax or the o-so-cute container that I must have. If I didn't love candles I wouldn't do it, right?!

    In my honest opinion, do a lot of research. For example customer base, are they online, have any solid accounts? Like southerngrace stated. I would be cautious. This economy is suffering and the candles are no exception. I am fairly new to the business but I can already tell it can be brutal. Just be careful. Good luck!!

    Thanks everybody, I believe the survey says "online labels". I will give them a try. I don't know how many times I have called my printer names that sound nothing like printer!! HEEHEE. I have printed things that look nothing like what I thought I was printing or the best is when you print and it is not in the area of where I put it on the sheet. Love that one!!. So frustrating. Hopefully I have found relief.

    Great thanks, I will try them. No matter how great the candle looks a label can just make it look trashy. Know what I mean? lol

    I am having the hardest time finding a label company that looks professional and unique but doesn't cost and arm and leg. I bought some "clear" labels and they came out frosted??!! I stupidly waited until the last moment to buy them and then I did not have time to find something else. I am wanting a clear label to go on my jars that I can print from my own printer at home. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places. Anyone know of a good brand or company? Thanks!

    Yes I agree that there is never a guarantee in business. I appreciate your replies and thoughts so much. :cheesy2:I started reading the threads on this site and I will say I have learned so much in these few days. Things I thought I new about making candles, just affirmed that I really didn't know as much as I thought. I look forward to reading and posting every morning. A friend of mine turned me onto the forum and I am so glad she did. Thanks again!

    Thank you so much for replying, I already sell a little but of supplies but I am looking to substitue my craft show income. You know here in Florida the summer months are brutal and not able to do outside shows. My candles are melting away!! I want to start buying in bigger bulk and will be able to sell at better prices plus save companies on shipping since I am closer. Before I buy the bulk I want to make sure I will be able to sell the supplies though. Trying to be smart before a big decision. Thanks again!!

    I have been pouring all my 415's at low temps, thanks for the information I am going to try to pour hot and see if that helps!! Question--I have found the Ecosoya is more expensive than the GB, is it a better product or just priced higher? I am almost out of 415 and I am wondering if I should try the other out.

    So does anyone have feedback on the use of pre-paid debit cards? Are they truely safer than debit cards?

    I could not agree more with lgcandles. I had the buy bulk=cheaper but what I learned quick is that candle making takes time and test test test. I made more candles for myself and family to try out before I would sell them to anyone. I would try different scents, waxes, etc to find the ones you love to work with. Also, be ready to have writers cramp, take notes galore!!! Most of all, HAVE FUN.

    I really like using a soy blended with paraffin. I like it because it is easy to work with and the colors seem to be brighter. Just my thoughts. I say use what you like and be comfy with your choice.
