  1. Ok!! Then what was the lye used for in the first place. I thought the two items were the same thing. whats the difference? :lipsrseal
  2. Has anyone used Bert's Bees lotions, cream, etc? I personally liked the almond hand cream. I found that the others were not what i thought. I didn't like like the Banana kind.
  3. I WAS WONDERING IF "RED DEVIL AND DRANO" THE SAME THING? THE DRAINO WAS IN SIMILAR CANISTER AS RED DEVIL. IT SAID IT WAS IN CRYSTAL FORM LIKE. STILL IS LYE, CAN THIS BE USED FOR SOAP MAKING? I DEFINITLY DIDN'T SEE ANY RED DEVIL AT WALMART OR SUPERMARKET. :undecided :undecided
  4. Thanks, I appreciate your advices. I figured so to use the pyrex measuring cups. Yea i kinda figured the metal pan or so wouldn't let the soap pop out. Thanks again. Have a good one.
  5. Hey everyone, I was up at Michael's store today. I saw in the soap, wax section, they had a small crock pot for soap. It was so little i thought it was cute, but looks like a rice cooker to me. It so small, made for only making soap. Have anyone bought one? That small thing cost 29 dollars. I can get a bigger crock at walmart cheaper than that but the stainless steele one. I was at good will today and saw a crock pot, but wasn't too sure about it. :undecided :rolleyes2 Oh by the way, I thought of using a mini muffin pan for soap as a mold. What do you guys think of that?:undecided Most of their soap stuff provided by www.soapplace.com
  6. Can you guys explain the "HEB" stands for? and the NBB? So who is carrying the best shower gel????:rolleyes2
  7. Thanks for the big tip. I have to go check the store out again. I usually shop there but never spend alot of time looking around. I appreciate it! :D
  8. I bought my first M&P soap kit! I am glad i went to the store. Found alot of stuff i could buy to start off with, but am going to use the coupon for 40 percent off on that stuff. I noticed that they didn't have any candle molds such as the floaters/tart. Limited type of soap mold. I am glad those of you who mentioned this store.
  9. Yes they did have a 3 or 2 wick jar candle. I only bought one jar long time ago. Never went back. Just don't get why they including Yankmee?
  10. Yes, they are selling yankmee!!! Can you believe it? Probably to get people to buy their stuff as well. I never heard of a candle co join with others? There is something on there that states they are selling yankmees. Well their candles weren't all that to me, just a small throw of scent. It like you have to let it sit all day, but never smell it in another room.:undecided
  11. That is the company i am talking about. I bought some from them, but it didn't give a loud throw (scents).:lipsrseal
  12. Care to reveal who you ordered from, so that I and others have the heads up.
  13. I am wondering, if you order your labels? Are you making your own labels. I imagine making up a company name and logo, also making it is not in use by other people. Is anyone making their own? Can you recommend a website for labeling?
  14. Why not use the clamshell? Break and bathe. Am i funny. Its just an idea
  15. Hi, I think you need to look under one of the post written by me. either whatever you shea or whipped shea. good luck
  16. Ya know what, It might have been a company, but it has been like 4 years ago. Maybe they went out of business. ponco candle. I actually still had the jar laying around here, i guess it got tossed during spring cleaning. Yep I did a search for this supposed to be company.
  17. I was trying to figure out this company, that i once orderd some candles from. There name was i think Ponco Candles? Some where in Pa. Do any of you recognize this name of the company. What do you think of their candles?
  18. No i was referring to the tarts that looks like ice cubes, they are contained in a plastic mold, which look like (sorta) ice tray. I just find it easy to just open and break off what you need and close the tray. Saves time and not having to use plastic baggies. I will look around for a picture of it and post it.
  19. Hey, Everyone Hey what do you think of the mold tart that you can just leave the tarts in, where as a person can just break and melt tart. This plastic mold remind me of bake and break cookies. I thought it was neat. Its a great way to design a lable for this little carton.
  20. Hey, Hope everyone had a good Labor day Holiday. I just wanted to see if anyone can tell me if there is a wholesales company near NY State? Just wondering to see who is near me and so forth. Have a good one. Thank You.

  23. Wow, Everyone has a different opioion about Yankee Candle. Well i guess i was wooed by Yankee, I have not really experience any other company but them and two others. Yes you can never burn all the way down and still have wax sitting there. I have tried this company called (i think) P...... something i just can't recall their name. They were ok but didn't give a good scent throw. There were other Candle business, they just couldn't stick with the brand scents they were buying originally and switch up on it which i didn't like. Everyone gave some good pro and con's of Candle companies, Thanks.
  24. Your soap looks excellent!!! Keep up the good work.
  25. I wonder what type of wax yankee candle uses. I have tried other companies but it was like i was wasting money on them when their products didn't meet my expectatons. I am trying to think of the company i bought a candle from, but if i were to post that answer who knows what. have you guys ever bought something and it wasn't what you thought it was?
