  1. I could be wrong, but I bet more people are buying from him due to his age than anything else.

As far as testing, I doubt much of that was done. In one of the youtube the wick was already mushrooming after a very short time (or so it seems) of being lit. I would buy one just out of curiosity, to see for myself how this thing burned and smelled. Just like I bought a Circle E candle when I was selling GC to know what scent to compare it to and to be able to talk to my "customers" about it. JMHO

  2. I have not been a part of this widespread attack, ours was stolen by a local pizza parlor employee. But I must say, this response has impressed me greatly!! I like the admittance of the 1% chance because in my way of thinking, how many are really going to own up to a breach of their system. It seems this report is comprehensive as well as open minded.

  3. Okay, call me stupid and laugh, but I'm just not "getting" the whole presto pot thing. Is it like a fry daddy? How do you adjust temperature in it to keep it from getting too hot? Looks like another research project for me!

  4. Did she state how it broke? If not, scam! Think about it. If I got a candle from someone and I broke it somehow, I'm not going to tell them how it broke if I'm trying to get them to replace something that was mine or a gift givers fault. Now, if it broke like one of my candles did due to a floating wick, you better believe I gave details in the complaint!! I didn't necessarily think about taking pics before I chunked it, but will keep that in mind from now on. Also, I wasn't trying to get a replacement, I just wanted to let them know there was a problem so they could fix it. It didn't cause damage or anything. Now if it had, I probably would of taken pictures. But seriously, if it's due to a defect, wouldn't you include details?

  5. Okay, so I'm a newbie and probably don't know my rear from a hole in the ground, but I'm trying to swallow this "real time" price change. And I'm kind of comparing it to oil. And it kind of totally pisses me off. Because here is how I look at it..... XXX bought 50 gallons of such and such at 3.00 a gallon. Now it is in stock and a good 3 month supply. So next week, they see that prices for it have gone up to say 5.00, so they go back and raise the price to their customers reflecting the 5.00 increase, but yet they got that same stuff for 3.00. Maybe I've got the wrong business thought, but I hate that. I know it is probably common practice, but don't do it obviously in my face. That ticks me off.

  6. BTW guys, the lady at KY told me they are NOT discontinuing that wax. Only waiting for it to come in!!

I know I probably should of ordered more wax, but after reading on here how some love it, others don't, I wanted to start small until I find "my" wax!

  7. oh how horrible! kind of reminds me how I learned to type in 8th grade. Manual typewriters, blank keys, piece of paper covering the paper you were typing so you couldn't look. Lord help you if you forgot to keep your wrists up, that's when tape with push pins got inverted below the space bar, if you dropped your wrists, owie!!
