Seems like those plastic baggies suck up some color sometimes too. I used to store waxed thread in plastic bags and the bags truned color. Mostly the browns and reds. Glad you found something fun to do with your daughter. My mom and I craft together and I cherish that time.

Those are cool. Necessity is the mother of invention! I think the rocks make it. BTW, can I ask where you found the tall jars like that? I've been looking for some for a New Year's table decoration idea.

Maybe try pre-heating the jar so the edges don't cool so fast compared to the inside?

I was worried about crossing over both ways. If they like JC they won't want mine and if they don't like JC they won't be back to try mine. It would be cool to have other empty clamshell shapes available.

Anyone know where to find electric candle/wax melt warmers like the Illuminations or plugins from candlewarmers? I keep reading that they are processing a week longer than they say and I'm looking to get some here for last minute shoppers next week. Any ideas? I'm in Northern Cali if there is something I can pick up in person.

Has anyone tried the premade wax melts from candlewarmers.com? I was thinking about selling them until I get my own tested with good reviews. TIA
