I wanted to smell them"...

I know exactly what your talking about.

Have you looked at maybe using a cd or circle label template(like the ones that you can download from avery) and using a scrap booking punch to cut out the circle and then hole punch the center to go over the wick.

what about doing baby magic , I have a cousin that loved the smell but her and her son were alergic so I made her a candle set so the babys room would smell like ot with out actually using it.

I am partial to peak myself (Im only about 20 minutes from them) but NG has some really good scents

Both Peaks Asian Sandalwood and CS Asian Amber are great sellers for me. But I do mix them with other oils. The one with Peaks Asian Sandalwood is my #2 top seller in soap. I mix it with patchouli for a sandalwood patch. Customers love it.

CS Asian Amber is a fantastic mixer. I have blended it with gardenia, bamboo, musk, and others. Its strong so you only need a little.

I wonder if the original OP is expressing an opinion of OOB? I am also wondering if the OP actually tried putting any of these oils in an application? You certainly can't judge a FO strictly OOB. Its only an indicator. You can only be sure once you put it in something at the right % to see how it reacts.

OHHH I bet the gardenia and asian amber smells amazing! I think Im gonna have to make order of fragrance oils now so I can experiment.

I have only come across one FO that I was really turned off by and it was peaks asian sandalwood. my husband calls it pickled a$$. he hated it so much!

I use all metal butter knives that I found savers(20 in a bag for $2.99). They are wide enough to blend the fo and I can slice thru the blocks so they melt better.

I would use sandalwood in there some where and fireside too. but Im still pretty new to the world of "FO mad science". but its still fun to brain storm

I have noticed myself doing that too, when I see something like that is mass marketed like glade and renuzit and try and figure out how its made. Like the glade candle that has the really thin strips in them. I just can't figure out how the colors don't bleed together. But I have really tested all that hard either lol.

I wonder if you could achieve this effect by running the wax thru a sive and on/into something that that would instantly solidify the wax, like water or a cold cookie sheet?...

thats what I thought too. wax dots actually look like the candies. these are super fine and I couldnt figure them out lol

I was checking out some things on etsy when I came across these.

the only thing that I can think is that they are aroma beads, but it says that they melt. I googled everything I thougt that they could be. anyone have any ideas. they are definately a neat idea.

I use the create feature and pick the 12x12 centered box(depending on the PS your using). then I just add photo, frane and text and save as a JPEG. then put them in to the labels in the word template for the label I bought.

I am looking for a columbine flower FO. Has anyone ever come across it by itself. I have found bouquet FOs that have it in them but I just want columbine. any help is greatly appriciated! thanks!

mine are similar to yankee and I make them in photoshop and transfer them to word and just get the avery premade labels. they are white right now but I will be switching to the clear gloss ones.
