  1. Thanks so much for your replies! I haven't been on the board in a few days. I haven't had a chance to call them yet, and it still hasn't posted to my CC. I'm going to try to call them tomorrow if I get a free minute. I appreciate you sharing your prices. I was thinking about going $16 or $18 for the illumination warmers and $14 for the plug-ins. I don't have the plug-ins yet, but I want them reeeeally bad! I live in Scentsy-land USA so I think people would jump at the chance to get an illumination warmer that's the same size (if not slightly bigger) as Scentsy's for half the price!
  2. NaturallyTru, I paid by credit card and it has not posted yet. I ordered them on 1/25. I'm not sure how long it takes to post because I very rarely use credit cards. Pleasureridgecandles, that is what I would do, but I don't know the total amount I was charged, only the charges for the warmers. I'm just wondering if this is normal or if they just forgot something. I'm going to contact them tomorrow and see what they say. I also thought maybe I wasn't looking in the right place for the info. Thank you!
  3. Thank you very much for your replies! I appreciate it! The packing slip was on the very top when I opened the box, however, it doesn't even show a subtotal or total. It just shows the quantity, description, and price of each item I ordered. It's the same thing that shows in my Order History on their site, except on the site it gives the subtotal before shipping and is showing $0.00 for shipping. I received an order confirmation e-mail directly after I placed my order, but it's also the same thing as what's in the Order History. I have a rough idea of the cost just by going to the UPS site and typing in the zip codes and box weight. I just wanted to know for sure and if there was someplace I wasn't looking. I'd have called them already but I saw that they are only available M-F until 5.
  4. I just received my very 1st order from Candlewarmers and I'm trying to figure out pricing on the warmers, BUT...I have no idea how much they charged me for shipping. It didn't show on the packing slip, nor is it showing on their site. It hasn't shown up on my CC yet either. I have customers who want to buy these babies and I don't want to short myself. Can anybody tell me where to find the shipping charges, or do I have to just wait until it shows on my CC statement? TIA!
  5. Oh wow. That's not bad at all then. I must have read it wrong then. Thank you!
  6. This is so not what I wanted to hear, folks! I just received my very first order from them and I fell in love with the warmers. I tested them all to make sure the bulbs work before I sell them, so hopefully they don't burn out after a month! Now I'm worried and will need to re-think my return/exchange policy. I signed up with OBI but it sounds like their shipping costs are kinda high and they recommend a $300-$500 order to keep them low...I can't afford that.
  7. That is awesome! What are the shipping charges like with OBI? I applied for an account with them yesterday and I think that's who I'll go through from now on also.
  8. It's funny. Maybe an hour after I posted, I "mysteriously" got a tracking number from UPS for my order. I guess you just hafta get on 'em to get anywhere. Too late to cancel, I guess. I better like these warmers!
  9. I'm in the same boat, although I submitted my order and am just "hoping" for the best. I only ordered a tiny amount because I didn't know the shipping charges. I'm not real happy with them right now, I can tell you that much. I ordered my warmers 2 weeks ago along with other things from 3 other suppliers and I've received everything but the warmers, so I finally e-mailed them yesterday to find out where my warmers are since their site says orders are normally shipped within 3-5 days of receipt. They replied saying they had shows all last month and are behind due to the volume from those shows. They said my order is "typed up" and I'll receive tracking once it leaves the warehouse. But no estimate on time. I'm not sure if I'll do business with them again. :undecided
  10. Phooey on not hearing back from them! I hope you have by now. Wow...that's surprising to me that they'd sell cracked ones so well. I don't think I'd buy something like that, but that's just me and I'm picky! lol.
  11. I hope you can get it sorted out and that they will give you credit or something for it. Let us know what happens! I'm really curious!
  12. I've only done the double boiler method, and frankly, it bores me! LOL. I'm really thinking about making a presto pot. It's basically a deep fryer (with an adjustable temp setting) that you drill a hole into and add a spout to pour your wax after heating. They run about $20-25 bucks at Target/Wal-Mart, etc. Here is information about how to make them from Candle Tech - http://www.candletech.com/general-information/do-it-yourself-wax-melter/ , or you can get them already made, as Travis said.
  13. Ok, here's the verdict as I promised - It worked!! Filling to almost overflowing + Letting them sit open for 20-24 hours to cure = Problem SOLVED!! Thanks to everyone who offered their advice!! You all are the best!!!
  14. Thanks, IwantItgreen! I will look into that if these don't work out! I agree that the PB alone is too brittle. The ones I've made so far are gorgeous and smell great so far, so I hope I don't have to switch waxes! Hehe. Judy, I also hope this isn't the case! I just checked them after letting them sit all night and 2 from the first batch from last night have slight cracks at a couple corners of the whole big compartment, if that makes sense. Nothing scary at all like it was. There was only 1 from the last batch that had that. I closed 1 from each batch and no cracks!! So I'm crossing my fingers for the rest of them. I'm going to let them sit a little longer because I'm paranoid - lol - but I will post my final results just in case someone else out there searches for this topic.
  15. I'm new to this also. It's fun, isn't it?!? With mine I just heat my oven to 170 (that's the lowest mine will go), line a baking sheet with tin foil, put my pot upside down, plus my metal spoon, and leave it in there just long enough for the wax to melt. Then I wipe off any residue left over with paper towels.
