Trim the wick, that should fix it. HTH!

My favorite is 4630. It's the only container wax I've used and wouldn't think of changing. CT and HT are great (IMO) and I rarely get wet spots. Works great with zinc wicks.

I got mine at Peaks Candle Supply for 17.95 and it works very well. It doesn't blow hard at all, and melts the tops perfectly.
I've got Peak's heat gun too and it works great. No complaints here! Plus the price was very good.

They all look great, very festive!!

Wow, that looks awesome!!

Awesome, thanks guys! Looks like I'll have to go buy myself a rubbermaid tub!! Thank you!! :smiley2:

I'm just curious on how everyone stores their 4630. I use and love this wax, just can't quite figure out how to store it yet. Thanks!

I've used Peak's in wax. Throws really well. 4630.

I use Peaks White Tea & Ginger too and it throws very well in my 4630 for me as well, along with my soy candles.

Those jars are pretty. For bathroom scents, the "clean" scents sell well for me, so like Baby Powder, Fresh Linen, Clean Cotton or Downy Fresh. Lots of flower scents are good for that too.

Looks great! Good job!

I know it's probably real putzy, but I measure out my FO with tablespoons/teaspoons depending on how many candles I'm making. Works pretty good for me!

I just get my containers from Fleet Farm, Farm & Fleet, or Menard's for now and I use Jelly Jars. I do agree with Chuck though with starting with votives. That's what I started out with and I'm glad I did. It gets you used to the whole candle making process. HTH!

I use the Key Lime from Peaks and I think its very close, has a very tart, citrusy scent.

I love Eggnog, Spiced Cranberry, Winter Wonderland, and Gingerbread Cookies. I've got quite a bit more, but these are my absolute favorite Christmas scents.

The only type of dye I've ever used is the dye chips and there's maybe 1 or 2 of the colors out of ALL the different colors there are that will have the specs in the bottom of the jar, every single other color blends in very well with the wax. And with those 2 colors, the specs are very minimal. Very easy to use too, and I get nice rich, bold colors with them too. HTH! :smiley2:

I use Peaks Lilac FO and wow, it's almost scary how close it is to the real thing.

I haven't tried Candle Soylutions Birthday Cake yet either, but I use Peaks Birthday Cake and it smells great hot and cold throw. It's one of my favorite scents. YUM!

I second Peak's Wild Mountain Honey! Very good and close!
